Beard's contribution to the restoration of 17th and 18th century buildings at Pembroke College and the cleaning and restoration of the Ashmolean Museum Taylorian Institute was recognised by Oxford Preservation Trust in two Environmental Awards.
Now in their 30th year, the awards recognise projects 'that make a significant contribution to the conservation and improvement of the built or natural environment in Oxford and its green setting'.
